What is the Halloween Festival?

A fun two-day workshop for all Suzuki string students and their parents.  The workshop includes mass playtogethers, smaller instrumental groups, improvisation, singing and orchestra.  It’s always really enjoyable and everybody loves it!

Who’s it for?

All Suzuki string players:

VIOLINISTS: total beginners up to end of book 8

VIOLA PLAYERS: total beginners up to end of book 2

CELLISTS: total beginners up to end of book 2 with a couple of spaces for advanced players - please email me about this if you would like more information.

All students must be registered with the British Suzuki Institute.  If you’re not already a member you can sign up now - details on the registration form.

Where is Suzuki Hub?

In Central London, near Hoxton Overground or a short bus ride away from Liverpool Street or Old Street tube stations.  We will be using the community centre next door too, so there is plenty of room.  Outside Suzuki Hub is pedestrian only so there’s lots of space to run around without worrying about traffic.

Where we are located

Getting there:

By train: Hoxton overground is five minutes’ walk away, with trains going direct from Highbury & Islington, Dalston Junction, New Cross, West Croydon, and many stops in-between.

By bus:  the 26, 48, 55, 67, 149, 242, 243 and the 394 all go to within a five minute walk of Suzuki Hub.  The stops are marked on the map above.

By car:  There is pay and display parking on Appleby Street, parallel to Weymouth Terrace.  It's two minutes to walk to Suzuki Hub from there.  If you come for the whole day please be aware you will have to move your car as there is a maximum stay in the pay and display bays.

Cycling:  Suzuki Hub is very close to the Canal so cycling to us is a very good option if you live nearby.  There are cycle racks outside the community centre.
